When you are selling your home, one of the most important things you can do is put yourself in the shoes of your prospective buyers.
As real estate agents, it’s our job to know who is looking to buy in your area and what they want. Once you know this, you can make your home appeal to its target market by decluttering and depersonalising as much as possible.
An uncluttered home will look larger and it will also be easier for potential buyers to imagine themselves living there. It will appeal to a wider market, which increases buyer competition and the ultimate sales price.
Of course, all this pre-sale work takes time and effort, and you want to be sure it will have a positive impact on your sales price.
